Why do you want to lose weight…again?

What if there is a way to lose fat and keep it off? Would you go for it?

There is a way, and all you need to do, is to commit for 28 days.

Start now: 28-Day Challenge

A few years ago, I sat down with my husband to find a solution for my clients to stay lean. I was tired to see people lose weight just to pick it up again. At this time I had an outdoor training “boot-camp” with more than 200 members at any given time. Working in this environment with so many people was invaluable experience. My training methods worked extremely well. To see how my clients improved their fitness week-by-week was really rewarding.

But too often I would see them get in the best shape of their lives, just to return to their previous weight not long after they’ve reached their goal.

Once a year I held a ‘biggest loser’ competition where participants entered into a competition. The entrance fees were used to award cash prizes. It soon became very popular and people from outside my boot-camp joined, often just for the cash prizes that were up for grabs! The competition ran for six weeks. I took measurements at the start and again on the day of the prize giving, which became quite an event by the third year.

What this gave me was access to data that you won’t find anywhere else. These were real people, not rats in a lab or participants in a controlled environment 24/7.  I knew most of them well. The majority trained 3 times a week at my boot-camp but some also trained on the other days. Some did extra weight training, some running, some did walking and a few followed a 6 day program which I provided.

The diets of the participants also varied. Any diet you can think of were used- from high-fat-low-carb, to fasting, to low calorie in various forms.

Just about every fad diet you can think of was tried. Most actually worked, as long as the calories was low off course. One weird diet used by one of my clients worked so well I have since “prescribed” it to others and tried it myself. Although the client did not know it at the time, but the diet she used was actually almost exactly the same as one that has been used by scientists in a research paper I stumbled upon later. This is the only very low calorie extreme diet I know off where you still have loads of energy and where your hunger are controllable.

This diet is only 4 days long and you can expect to lose between 3-6kg, although much of it will be water. It is not uncommon to lose 2-3 kg of pure fat so it works really well if you only have a few days or so to get in a dress or want to be more comfortable on the beach.

If you want this diet, just fill in the form below and I’ll send it to you instantly, for free off course. Just remember, this is not the type of diets I usually give people to do. It doesn’t solve the problem of keeping it off. But it can be a good kick start for some. And as it is only 4 days, it won’t do any harm.

Okey, to get back to what we found looking at the data from thousands of clients:

One thing that became clear is that, in general, those who were  1) Most determined and 2) Followed low calorie diets lost the most fat. Nothing surprising here, but that doesn’t mean that you should just go and starve yourself. Because those who set out to eat the least, were also the most likely to fail.

Eating too little calories are unpleasant, very unpleasant. What is more is that those who lost weight this way, generally regained it the quickest. The low calorie group also lost the most muscle, even when protein was kept relatively high.

All this data of different diets, training, age, gender was something that needed to be analyzed. This is where my husband came in. He played around with it all and presented me with some very interesting conclusions. I was looking to see what those handful of people did who not only lost weight, but kept it off.

Within those who kept it off, some were close to single digit fat percentages and some were slightly higher around 15. Both these groups trained hard but there was a key difference in the way they did. Both groups ate healthy or followed diet that worked, but again, there was a clear conclusion. This difference, was the birth of my 28-day challenge.

So a few years ago I set out to test it on myself and about 30 clients . It worked. I mean it really worked. Since then, I have given it to hundreds of real life clients and all have the same results. It is life changing, like I wanted it to be.
