Last night I went to bed feeling way more relaxed than any other Sunday night.  Imagine you don’t have to worry about groceries shopping, planning meals and lunch boxes for the week ahead.  I have never thought how easy my life could be without preparing any meals.

Since our move to Australia, I struggle on a daily basis to find balance with healthy eating, work, school and house chores.  I finally gave in and realise that I am not spending my time optimal and I need to make a change.  It felt like I am cooking and cleaning all day (you won’t say that I am cleaning if you see the state of our home). I have two very active boys, both just too young to really help.  The oldest one is helping with a few errands.  So we made the decision to trial delivered meals, and not the meal boxes where you still have to prepare the meals. No the meals are already prepared.  You can eat it fresh from the fridge or heat it up in the microwave.

We decided on Youfoodz since their meals are fresh, plus the portions and total calories per day are not starvation rations.

We chose a muscle build plan for my husband and a maintenance plan for myself.  My oldest son (9 years old) is on the same plan as I.  We are introducing the meals to my youngest one (5 years old), he is a very fussy eater.

The first two days have been amazing!!  I have so much more time.  I managed to write two blog posts, we went for a long walk yesterday, took the boys to the beach today, there was enough time for me to do my crazy Monday workout (yes, the entire workout).

On top of all that, the food tastes amazing!!

It is still a couple of hours before I go to bed and have time to catch up with my husband and go to bed on time.

I feel like the luckiest women on earth!
