Become the fittest person you know

“Become the fittest person you know”

Train hard.  And don’t stop until you become the fittest person you know.

When was the last time that you thought about why you workout?

Working out gives us more than a better body.  It gives us a better life.  Training builds more than lean muscle and fitness, it builds character.  Workout teach us to have the courage to go after goals.  They teach us to have purpose and meaning.   They teach us to stop making excuses and stop finding reasons to fail.

When we train, we stop being a victim and we start taking responsibility for ourselves.

Working out help us understand that there are no quick fixes or magic pills. We learn to embrace the process.

Working out teaches us that long term satisfaction trumps instant gratification.

When we train, we learn to be tough and push through adversity.

If we have the power to change our bodies, we have the power to change our lives. That is how powerful working out is.

You can’t fake fitness.

You can’t buy fitness.

You can’t talk yourself into fitness.

You have to earn it.

The only way to get fit is by doing the work. That is what makes it special. The biggest lesson we learn from training is that you either do it, or you don’t.  If you don’t workout, you wont be fit. It is that simple.

And such is everything in life.  You get what you put in.

What you have done today, yesterday, last week, last month, last year and the years before that, determined where you are today.  It determined how healthy you are, how fit you are, how you look, how happy you are, how wealthy, how educated, how many friends you have……

Working out is how you reinvent your body, your mind and ultimately, by applying the lessons learned from training, your life.

You have one life.

You have the power to change your future.

It all starts with a decision – the decision to workout.  But not just workout, but to TRAIN.  Train with purpose.
